2400mm Modular Pig Trap

Why buy our pig trap?

We have designed and developed a modular pig trap to fix all your pig eradication problems.
Over time, we have worked closely with various landholders to bring a pig trap to the market that is not only very affordable but also has several distinct features.

One feature of this trap is that it any panel configuration can be used, making the trap as large or as small as required for your operation. Any number of panels with one-way repetitive entry doors can be used in a trap as well.

Feeding poisoned grain in traps

Our pig traps can also be used as a grain bait station, if you want to feed poisoned grain out while cattle are feeding nearby.
An additional baulk gate can be supplied to bolt on the opening of the repetitive entry door.
There is an open space big enough for pigs to enter and leave the trap without any stock entering and ingesting poisoned grain.

  • Flat pack design for easy transportation.
  • MATERIAL: Fully galvanised construction.
  • Unique bracket system that allows for quick trap assembly in minutes.

FAQs

What are the pig trap dimensions?

Our standard Pig Trap size is 2410mm long x 1520mm high. BUT our trap can be as big or as small as needed.

Our modular trap design allows for additional panels to be added as requested.

Do I need to fix my pig trap down with Star posts?

This is entirely up to you. The trap is heavy and hard to move. If you are concerned that pigs are going to push under the trap, it would be ideal to fix the trap down.

How long does it take to assemble my trap?

Ideally, this should be a 2 person task and will take 20 minutes to assemble on a new trapping site.

How many traps should I order for my property?

This depends on the density of feral pigs on your property. On larger properties, it is always wise to have 2-3 traps set up in different areas so you can target more than one mob at a time.

How many pigs can I trap in one setting?

Anywhere between 10-15 pigs can be trapped in one setting. This also depends on the size of the pigs.

Can pigs escape from my trap?

No. The pig trap panels are too high for pigs to escape. Even if the pigs try to climb on other pigs to jump out, they won't stand a chance.

What type of grain should I lure feral pigs with?

Anything cereal will be effective. Wheat, barley or oats. The most important thing to note is you can’t change between grains while free feeding as this will affect your trapping numbers.

Can I get a bulk discount if I order more than 5 traps?

Yes. If multiple traps are purchased, we can reduce the price or freight costs.

Do you offer a trial period on pig traps?

Typically, no. This is because so much time has been spent developing a product that is guaranteed to trap pigs. If you have any concerns about the trap, please contact us to discuss them.
